Hi reader (waving) I have made a video about all my favorite beauty items for this period. First, I hope you like it – that you are entertained 🙂 And secondly I hope that it can provide you with some guidance in the red ocean that is the beauty industry today! I talk about a lot of skincare items – very pricy such as La Mer and very affordable such as Nature Republic! And then of course about the fantastically weird blush that looks like an eyeshadow but acts like a bronzer and highlighter – but most importantly I talk about the magic that has enabled my lashes to grow to about twice their length in just about 3 months.… Læs mere »Winter Favorites (no U) – 2016 – All Beauty
I didn’t even know about Nude by Nature when 2016 begun. So the acquaintance has been short but sweet – definitely sweet. Late on friday afternoon, a package came to my office with my name on it. It was a cardboard box, the size of a cereal box, closed with ducktape. So it didn’t look to fancy. BUT IT WAS! Inside was this really tasteful and elegant christmas calendar from Nude By Nature – some good friends of mine from the industry had sent it over as a xmas present – and I was grateful and in awe and just completely thrilled with makeup-happiness (that type of happiness that only makeup can give you). I’ve never had a beauty advent… Læs mere »Nude by Nature – 12 days of Xmas calendar
I created a short and easy tutorial showing you how I transition my day look into a more festive and party appropriate night look. Picking up your makeup look after a full day of work – can make you feel like a brand new person. So amping up your makeup look does not only make you look better but often time also feel better. It does need to take a long time and you can actually work off the rest bit of makeup you still have lingering around on your face from the full day of working – whatever that might entail. I like to add a bit of depth to my eyeshadow – turning up the smoky-ness (read… Læs mere »Easy Day to Night Tutorial
There’s something about the name of these lipstick that ‘had me at Hello’ – Rouge Rouge – right? Sounds like the mega cool girl in the xmen squat, or something… pulled me in, right when I saw these, I knew they were going to be special. The Rouge Rouge lipstick collection by Shiseido promises 16 of the most flattering shades of red. And I think it’s rather ballsy to launch a new bunch of reds (16!!!) in a red lipstick ocean. They HAVE to be great – to not pour water on top of water. And they REALLY are. I tried 3 shades – Ruby Copper, Bloodstone and Burning up – I loved two and really liked one. I think… Læs mere »Rouge Rouge – in a red Ocean <3
My very first post on my new blog! UUugh! Soo exciting. Is of course my newest YouTube video, about how to create an appropriate office and work makeup look – as it is something that probably all of my friends have requested at this point. Makeup is fun and around to help us feel and look beautiful – in my opinion. And of course you can wear your makeup to (most) workplaces and meetings and whatnot, even though you do not work in the beauty industri. I believe the most common barrier to wearing makeup on a day to day basis is time. And then perhaps the fear of going over-board – and being ‘in appropriate. So here is my… Læs mere »10 minutes office & work appropriate makeup look
When a new (old) makeup trend surfaces – I most often am really excited to try it out. This one was definitely right up my alley – DRAPING. Which basically means to contour with blush. As I understand it’s a makeup technique that has it roots in the 80s disco era. The makeup look resembles the redness on your cheeks after dancing a lot. So it’s basically just blush all out! And i love it. And then adding highlight in bulks – to enhance your glow (sweat). So what’s not to like? I chose to ad a gradient lip – which has it roots in the wonderful world of K-beauty. This makeup technique sort of goes hand in hand with… Læs mere »What is draping?
Here is my latest beauty favorites. Clearly I’m holding onto summa with my dear life! But I’m completely a bronze N’ highlight girl – what can I say? I just love that stuff! So of course I’m loving this season on makeup to the fullest. Favorites on my channel and blog aren’t necessarily new product – but just like the phrase suggests – my favorite products that I have been using of late. As per usual – if you have any kinds of questions about the products mentioned in this video – please do not hesitate to reach out and ask me. I would love to chat.
